Artist's Comments

This one´s taken last summer in Koskenkylä Finland at my summer cottage down by the beach. I spotted a few Damselflies and managed to capture a few good shots of them. It has amazing colours almoust neon blue , and I love the textures on the wings. I´m not an expert but I think this is a white legged damselfly (platycnemis pennipes) but I'm not 100% sure of that.)

Now THAT is some seriously nice and crisp close-up focus. Staggering shot, and an instant :+fav: ... The detail is wonderful!
